An Immediate Denture is a Denture, which is placed “Immediately “ following the removal of teeth. This Denture will do several things. Firstly it will control swelling following surgery.

Secondly, it will act as a big band-aid and help with the healing process. It will also help you get accustomed to wearing a Denture and the best part is YOU NEVER HAVE TO GO WITHOUT TEETH!

Partials are designed to replace natural teeth, which have been lost. A partial will act as a space maintainer as well as help to ensure a balanced bite. Missing Molars will put tremendous pressure on your remaining teeth and could lead to further tooth loss. Having missing teeth may also lead to teeth drifting which could result in further tooth loss.

A reline is needed when there has been recession and resorption of the gums and bone that the denture sits on. The result will be a loose or ill-fitting denture. In some cases it is just a matter of adding Acrylic to the Denture to re-establish a good fit however; in many cases this is not a good solution because the teeth on the Denture have been worn out. (Kind of like re-treading a tire with a bald tread) The Denture will need to be evaluated by the Doctor who will then make their recommendations on to best address the situation.

Periodontal disease is an active bacterial infection that affects the gum and bone, which support the teeth. In many cases this disease is painless and will go unnoticed without regular visits to the Dentist. This disease is also a chronic inflammatory disease, which in studies has been linked to cardiovascular disease, heart disease, stroke and even certain cancers.

It is impossible to know whether or not a Crown/Bridge can be re-cemented without having the Doctor evaluate the tooth. In many cases, there is a reason behind the Crown/Bridge failing.

We can schedule you for your FREE EXAM & X-RAY so the Doctor can determine how you should best proceed.

Most Dental Insurance carriers have a yearly maximum of around $1,000. In most cases involving extractions and dentures this is not enough to cover the entire procedure.
