Although he is a talented dentist who has been serving the dental needs of the Meridian and Boise area for more than 25 years, Dr. Matthew Kooyman describes himself as just the guy next door. He is pleased to help his neighbors and friends in the community achieve healthy and beautiful smiles.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in medical biology from the University of Utah, Dr. Kooyman earned a dental degree from the University of Iowa. He is committed to lifelong training so that he can offer the latest, state-of-the-art dental care to his patients.

Whatever You Need, We’re Here to Help

We focus on the overall dental health of our patients. Since we are for the most part a full-service dental office, we are able to provide patients many of the dental services they need at one convenient location. Every new patient 18 years and over receives a free comprehensive exam including all of the necessary radiographs (x-rays). Our dentists then comprise a thorough treatment plan for each new patient and provide direction on the path to better dental health.

There is a growing connection between oral health and OVERALL health. This is why it is necessary to examine the entire oral cavity (mouth) at the initial visit. Periodontal disease, for example, if not treated, can lead to other serious health conditions including cardiovascular disease, heart disease, and stroke.

High-quality dental care is tough to find these days. Linder Road Family & Cosmetic Dentistry offers payment plans (on approved credit), including interest-free options available up to 12 months. Most dental insurances are accepted and generous senior and veteran discounts are also available to help reduce the financial burdens associated with quality healthcare.

I called CR Smiles to talk about an implant I needed. I had already had my tooth extracted and a bone graft done, but then we moved. I initially went to the dentist my insurance covered, but they gave me a quote that was thousands more than my original dentist did. That's when I called CR Smiles and set up a consultation. The implant start to finish was WAY less than my dentist was quoting, plus DR. Kooyman was extremely knowledgeable about implants and the best way to place it for my specific case. The entire experience was incredible. He took the time needed to make sure it was done right with proper healing time. I'm soo happy I chose them. My tooth looks and works Great, it was very reasonably priced, and I was treated well throughout the process. I highly recommend this facility for implants.

I've been going to CR Smiles / Signature Dental for almost three years, now (before that, my dental was military). I absolutely love the staff and how friendly and kind they are and I always look forward to seeing them. Dr. Kooyman is an outstanding dentist and friendly as well; he's knowledgeable about every procedure I've had done, and he makes a trip to the dentist less formidable. While I still don't ~love~ going to the dentist, he's given me many reasons to smile (pun intended).
